Public transportation
From Thira Interantional Airport (JTR): All buses go to the main bus station at Fira (the capital of Thira). Any changeovers for the next bus destination must be made at the main station only. The journey from the airport to Fira is about 25 minutes. Travellers going to Perissa need to change the bus at Fira main bus station. The journey from Fira to Perissa is about 30 minutes.
From Athinios Port: All buses at the port go to Fira but during the summer season there is also a line that goes straight to Perissa.

Taxi
Airport Taxis in Santorini stop at the ranks outside the terminal. Licensed taxicabs are grey and can carry up to 4 passengers (3 in the back 1 in the front). Rates are fixed according to the destination. Please note that waiting time may be long during the summer or in busy times. Booking in advance is recommended.
